If you require the client and server to handshake, using some kind
of 128 bit or higher encryption, I don't think it would be cracked
any time soon. If you're worried, go for 256 bit or something...
You only require handshaking at the beginning of the session, so any
performance hit would be negligible....
To get around that, you would have to rewrite both the client and
the server, so what would you gain by rewriting both? You'd just have
created your own gaming system...
