I disagree. the men/boys/male humans that i know that play games tend to be highly intolerant of flaws and bad graphics. it may be due to that the majority of men that I know are programmers or systems engineers... Myself, I don't really care about the graphics too much if I like the game, but good graphics are indeed more fun. The majority of people I have run into on the various MOO's (I have no experience with MUD's at all, just MOO's) were men. I don't like that huge gender gap to be honest. wils, geekwoman _______________________________________________ MUD-Dev maillist - MUD-Dev#kanga,nu http://www.kanga.nu/lists/listinfo/mud-dev

Prev by Date: Re: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article

Next by Date: [MUD-Dev] Its not a MUD...is it?

Prev by thread: RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article

Next by thread: [MUD-Dev] Essays on parsing text.

Index(es):

Date

Thread

Thread context:

RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, (continued)

RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, Koster, Raph rkoster#origin,ea.com, Tue 31 Aug 1999, 19:24 GMT

RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, Adam Wiggins adam#angel,com, Tue 31 Aug 1999, 19:47 GMT

RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, Marian Griffith gryphon#iaehv,nl, Fri 03 Sep 1999, 18:17 GMT

RE: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, Koster, Raph rkoster#origin,ea.com, Tue 31 Aug 1999, 22:39 GMT

Re: [MUD-Dev] Game design and gender: An interesting article, Willowreed Willowreed#aol,com, Tue 07 Sep 1999, 18:02 GMT

[MUD-Dev] Essays on parsing text., Ling K.L.Lo-94#student,lboro.ac.uk, Mon 26 Jul 1999, 16:50 GMT

Re: [MUD-Dev] Essays on parsing text., Christopher Allen gmfangs#asmrb,org, Tue 27 Jul 1999, 02:08 GMT

Re: [MUD-Dev] Essays on parsing text., Travis S.
