Perhaps it is arrogant, but it's no more arrogant than Bill Gates not
wanting to talk to, say, me (as a fellow chairman of a company). The fact
is, I am not on Bill Gates' level. Similarly, I consider 95% of mud admins
(and I emphasize that this list is heavily populated with the other 5%) to
be total wastes of time. In the art world, they would be the people who
use paint-by-numbers and call themselves artists. Since any drooling idiot
can download a pre-packaged game and then call themselves an admin, I see
no reason why I should attach any value at all to the label "mud admin" as
it has absolutely no connotations of competence and no connotations of
ability. If it is arrogant not to have any interest in talking to such
people, then I'm proud to be arrogant.
