The ISS continually monitors the CPU-load on the SP2 nodes that are dedicated to interactive work. ISS dynamically modifies the DNS nameserver configuration file (once every few seconds) for the SP2 computer system's domain (sp2.uni-c.dk) in such a way that the DNS name any.sp2.uni-c.dk always corresponds to the IP-address of the least loaded node.
