Halls of Combat~
~

You actually gain experience through combat.  Some mobs (mobiles, or
monsters) will attack you right away, some you can attack (by typing "kill
<mobname>" or "attack <mobname>".  While in combat you can use various
combat skills and spells to conquer your enemy.  
 
Combat's too big a topic to go into here, so you should read the help
files carefully.  Type "help" then look under the COMBAT section.
 
Alright, you're ready to begin the game.
 
From now on you'll officially be in the game, and room descriptions
will actually describe the room rather than give you gameplay instructions.
 
Remember to use the help files, and don't be shy about asking other
players if you're confused about something.
 
Finally, most commands can be abbreviated, so you don't have to type
out everything in full everytime you use it.  Experiment.

to jump right in, head down.
