furniture.  The floor is covered entirely with a thick, red carpet which
muffles the sound of your footsteps.  Despite the luxurious surroundings,
you sense a great power at work here, and even the most innocous items in
the room gleam with a magical aura.

This small cell is tidy and well-organized; the straw has been neatly
piled in the corner, and there aren't quite as many insects as the rest of
the dungeon.  There is a strange tingling in the air, and you sense that
whatever magic you possess is useless in here.

This large room is filled with debris and the shattered remnants of metal
and wood.  The dust hangs thickly in the cobwebs that line the ceiling, and
you get the feeling that nobody has disturbed this room for many years.

The Portal room~

The main feature in this room is a large portal set into the floor,
bordered by the stone carvings of demonic shapes.  You hear a strange
whistling fill the room, and the air seems hot and filled with electrical

The statue~

depictinga forest scene.  To one side of the tapestry is a large statue that
seems to stare at you.  You feel extremely uncomfortable here.

The mirror room~

The centerpiece of this enormous changer is a large silvered mirror bound
in a golden frame.  As you look at it, you notice something remarkable! 
Though it reflects your image, it does not reflect the rest of the chamber. 
Instead your image in the mirror is flanked by a woodland scene!  You feel a
warm breeze on your face, and you hear the faint cry of birdsong in the
background.  The image is so realistic you feel as if you could step right
into it...

A shadowy demi-plane~

You are walking through a thick mist which obscures visions in all
directions.  The ground beneath your feet is strangely moist, yet firm. 
Occasional flashes echo through the mist, and you hear strange noises in the
distance.
