Beyond the Temple Doors~

You were successful in forcing the doors to this Temple. Dust, disturbed
by your entrance, floats about you in moats. After your eyes adjust to the
gloom, you take a look about. You see a huge open Church, lines of kneeling
stands lead up to a large Central Altar, which you can't quite see from
here. You do not feel fear or foreboding, only a sense of sadness and loss.
This place was once a place of Magic.

The walkway between the kneeling pews, is covered by a once plush, soft
carpet of forest greens; now it is muted and grey, crunching underfoot as
you walk. You think you can hear chanting and low singing coming from all
about you; but you can't find its location. On both sides and behind is a
balcony. The Altar is still obscured by the twilight darkness.

Crunch... Crunch. No matter how soft your tread the carpet crunches,
like the sound of leaves in fall. To your left and right are the pews and
the balconies, also to your left is an arch-way in the wall. The Altar
itself is quite large, with a central pulpit. High above the Altar is some
sort of Bas-relief that glows with a pale radiance.

You stand underneath a beautiful stain-glass Skylight. Looking closer
you see it has been shattered through the off-center. Through the break you
can just make out something, some form passing back and forth. The Altar is
just ahead of you, there is debris all over the place. Two door-ways are
also visible in the back wall. The relief style mural is of the Sky.

Nature or something akin. In its time it must have been lovely. Your eyes
are drawn up to the relief on the wall. To the sides are annother set of
Arch-ways, one to the left one right. Again your eyes drift to the
&YRelief.

relief~
As your eyes and strangly enough all of your senses grow attuned the
Relief, its Magic takes hold of you. You are outside in the Forest again,
but it seems different; no longer dark and sombre ; but warm and inviting.
Your body feels warm again - waves of Peace calm your body , and ease your
soul. You watch it seems for hours as the night passes. Stars wink at you,
and fall to the earth, the moon rises and glows silver-white upon your face.
Then the sun. Elation Ecstasy of a kind never felt before, fills you as the
sun rises, bathing the forest in light. You feel as if you have seen green
for the very first time. And then the spell fades.

The Altar ~
~
~
This ancient Altar has been here for a long time; possibly even longer
than the Temple that surrounds it. When you Enter the room a wave of Peace
fills your body.

The Eastern Altar~
~
~
Trash and Rubble are strewn about the Carpet. There is a cracked and
brittle statue of a Dark Skinned Elven Female here. A Drow!.... But that's
impossible! This Drow is wreathed in Flowers and has a look of
bennevolence, and Love on her face. This is very strange. An Arch-way
leads into a flight of stairs, that lead down.

A Row of Kneelers~

There are Rows of Kneelers from the Altar all the way to the back of the
Temple. These kneelers were used of course for prayer. Made of soft
leather, the feather stuffing of them is sticking out hither and thither.

Shattered Corner~

The constant earth tremors have shattered the masonary of the temple
walls. You can see outside into the forest. You still wonder at the sheer
amount of violent earthquakes in this area.

Western Alter~

The western portion of the Altar contains the remanance of a garden. You
can just imagine the beauty of the colourful flowers and plants. Dried,
dead ivy hangs from the wall here. There is an Archway leading behind the
Altar.

This stone stair leads up to the Balcony that circumnavigates the Temple,
giving those who wished a better view of the services (whatever they were).

A row of kneelers is here for prayer. The windows along this whole
balcony have been shattered - from the outside?..... Stranger and Stranger.

From up here you have a fantastic view of the Altar Below. And all of a
sudden you feel the urge to rub your eyes in astonishment! There are four
robed figures standing on the Altar. Suddenly you can hear soft beautiful
chanting coming from the four Priestesses, four Drow Priestesses? They are
all robed in forest greens, browns and yellows; and you swear to your Deity
they are performing a Ritual of Natural Order?

The Observation Room of the High Druidess~

This Tower is Open to the Sky. It has been built all of Black Marble.
It was here that the Druidess's of Laelle'shiiva would come to see the Glory
of the Sky they and their kind had forgotten for so long.

Garden of Timeless Beauty~

One sharp turn, and then annother. These caverns seem to have been here
for ages. The walls were smoothed somewhat when the Followers of

around in wonderment. All about you are beautiful murals and Glyphs;
depicting the Goddess Laelle'shiiva, and the Natural World she stands for.

years. And what a Room! Every inch of the Walls are painted with Glyphs.
Each corner of the room is lined with Ivy that somehow still grows.
Pedastals of Marble stand next to the Stone Cairn in the Center of the room.

Upon finding and opening this Secret Way, you find yourself in a dusty;
but luxuriant Crypt. About you are Dozens upon Dozens of dried dead vases
of flowers. Every inch of the walls, ceilling and floor are covered in ivy.
One giant Stone Tomb lies in the centre of the Crypt.
