The Charter of the Clockwork Order is an impressive document, taking up
a huge book bound with leather. As you look over the small, meticulously
written passages, you realize that it must be several hundred years old,
and is written in an archaic form of the Common language:
 
I. And so this Auguste Companye, having banded together to form a most
Noble Order, dost write the Laws and Rules of Said Order, so as to 
Establish for Posterity the Standards and Legalities so All Members
knoweth thine Duties and Obligations with respect to Said Order.
 
II. We the founders of the Order do bequeath upon our Heirs the Most
Solemn geas to Maintain the Laws that precedeth:
 
First, that no member of the Order doth turn against his brother in
violence, or slander his brother without Just Cause.

tree have been arranged in such a way as to provide a natural staircase for
those that don't have the ability to fly.

The Tavern of The Lusty Nymph~

As you enter the bar you are almost overwhelmed by what you find. 
Everywhere you look you see fairies, sprites, pixies, nymphs and other
manner of enchanted folks engaged in all manner of activities from just
enjoying a nice cup of nectar to the pair over near the corner going at it
in the air.  The haze in the air from the number of mind altering
consumables almost brings you to your knees.  Then you notice the nymph
dancing on the bartop, it's the same one from the sign!

Along the path~

You follow the meandering path deeper into the heart of the woods. 
Streamers of sunlight shine down through the branches of the trees barely
illuminating your way.  Off to the east is a secluded little grove with a
large tree while to the west the path continues through the trees.  The
north is completely blocked off by the huge trees all around you.  From
above you can be heard the sounds of metal on metal as well as a few giggles
now and then.

A meandering path~

The smithy~

You have entered the smithy, you can now see why you heard all that

corner, it seems to be what Morollen is dipping his creations in to cool
them off.  Taking a closer look at it you realize that it is blood, and
probably came from the unfortunate human who's head you can see behind that
vat!

Fowards towards the center of the ring~

Continuing onwards you come to a small clearing.  There are many
directions to choose from including up.  Off to the west you can see a large
grove with piles of treasure lieing about, while a sign declares that above

can hear some faint chanting.

The donation grove~

You enter a large grove surrounded on all sides by the massive trees that
you've noticed are normal for the the fairy ring.  In the center of the
grove a large pile of treasure, armor, weapons and potions and scrolls is
just lieing there waiting for someone to take what they want.  You'd heard
about the wealth awaiting anyone who managed to sneak into a fairy ring, but
now the proof of that rumor is before your very eyes.  Off to the north can
be heard alot of grunting with some occasionally barked orders.

Denora's General Supplies~

Climbing up the tree you find yourself standing on a wood planking floor
that stretches out and among the branches.  Looking around you notice that
all of the branches in the immediate area have been cleared away so that
business can be conducted in relative peace.  Standing behind the large
counterstands a fragile looking sprite.  She looks up and you with a
seductive gaze and asks what your business might be.

The training grounds~

The first think you see upon entering the grounds here is the buff pixie
ordering all the younger sprites, satyrs, fairies and imps around.  Here is
where Saxmon teaches the younger and even at time the older members of the
clan what they need to know to survive out in the world.  His classes range
from learning to wield a sword to learning to wield a cock!?!?!  And over in
the corner two ladies are practicing advanced manuevers with their tongues?!
What kind of pixies are these!?!?!?!

Just before the center~

You stand just before the center of the ring.  Up ahead you can hear the
normal sounds of moaning and groaning that you've started to associate with
this particular group of pixies.  There's also an underlying chanting coming
from the center, you begin to wonder what the chanting means.  From up above
a stray bolt of lighting whizzes by your head to bury itself in the grass
beside you.  Looking up all sorts of strange mists and glowing lights can be
seen.  Off to the east a small path leads to a little grove.

The shop of mystical delights~

You make your way up the tree only to be assaulted by one of the most
spectacular light shows of your life.  All around you mists and lights of
every imaginable color and shape covort, play and generally float around. 
And throught it all small branches of lightning arc from light to mist and
back again, building up magnificent charges and finally flying straight up
to burst into the air in spectacular fashion.  It's probably one of the best
light shows you've ever seen.  Krystallin, the keeper of the store tries to
peer throught the mist and light and determine who you are and what you
need.

The center of the fairy circle~

At last!  You've reached the center of the circle and you even did it
alive!  As you look around you you can only groan with dissapointment as you
behold the total lack of interest you arouse.  All around you there's
pixies, sprites, imps, fairies, nymphs, and othere enchanted folk.  All of
them are involved in having sex with themselves, each other, forest animals
and even various magical and non-magical toys of strange make.  You've come
to expect nothing less from this batch of pixies, it seems the thrive on
sexual energy.  You even think that if they were deprived of it they'd
probably all shrivel up and die.  Standing in the very center of the ring is
the totally naked healer, urging all the folk around her on to greater feats
of sexual pervesion and casting spells of healing and refreshment to make
sure they all manage to continue and survive the general orgy taking place
here.

General Supply~

This small shop serves as the general trading store of the castle.  It is
here that clan members can buy their basic supplies,as well as sell ones
that have been found.  The condition of this store is rather disturbing,
nothing has been touched or moved out of place.  Suddenly, one rack of goods
begins to straigten itself out, preparing its goods for sale.  Tis odd
indeed.

A secluded grove~

You push through the branches in this secluded little grove.  It's
entirely surrounded by trees.  Two things catch your attention right off. 
One is the huge panther lazing about in the sun at the bottom of the tree. 
The other is the tree itself.  It's absolutely huge.  Looking up into it's
branches you can see that there's some sort of a treehouse in and among
them.  Just above your head there seems to be a sort of door leading up into
the treehouse.  Unfortunately it seems to be locked.

A quiet little grove~

You enter a small, secluded little grove off the main path.  The silence
hits you almost like a physical blow.  You're so used to listening to all

Bloody Carnage~

As soon as you enter this room, A huge wave of blood slams into you,
pounding you with the force of the ocean.  Chunks of shredded flesh swirl
around you, and the stench causes your stomach to knot up something horrid. 
In the center of this room, is a very large man chained to the ceiling.  He
has some very large gashes on his body, and blood pours out of him in
gushing torrents.  This would be a vampires delight.

before a huge pair of oak doors.  They seem to be reinforced with a strange
metal, and are decorated with various magic glyphs and wards.  At the base

light casts on shadows through the crack

You continue deeper into the cavern.  Large gouts of flame shoot forth
from the ground, causing you to rear back from the heat.  Suddenly one of
the flames spouts suddenly takes on the form of a huge hissing cobra.  At
first, you think its only the heat playing tricks on you, but you soon
realize its not.  All around you, all manners of reptiles slither forth from
the flames, their bodies made up of pure fire.

Throne of the OverLord~

As you continue deeper into the cavern, a huge wall of black flames
erupts from the ground, ending your march.  Oddly enough, this fire does not
burn as should a normal flame.  Slowly, a huge throne begins to mold itself
from the flames.  Within moments, a pair of 14 foot tall cobras branch out
from beneath the throne.  Gripped with fear, you try to run..  Only to find
yourself engulfed in the black flames.

Swirling Mist above Magog~

A giant cyclops serves those who are loyal to Magog, for they are pure evil.

The Four Seasons~

This small tavern is well-lit by a roaring fireplace in the east wall,
and the rustic decor and pleasant aromas evoke a comfortable feeling.  This

urge to sit in front of the fire and soak up warmth and ale.

Before the Citadel~

You stand before the massive citadel of the Clockwork Order.  The huge
structure is made to look like a huge set of gears made of stone, iron, and
brass.  The entrance gate is to the north; above it hangs a huge clock
constructed of components of unbelievable intricity and beauty.

A stone corridor~

that lies to the north.  The stones that make up the floor and walls are

This corridor runs through the halls of the Citadel of Time, running west
from a windowed door which looks out into the courtyard.  The decor in the
hall is eclectic indeed; trophies, paintings, and tapestries from many
different time periods grace the walls, and the overall atmosphere is calm
and serene.

of potted plants and vines.  They surround a large water clock, a graceful
machine constructed of bronze and glass.

A guard station~

In this large room the human guardians of the Citadel coordinate it's
defenses.  Large screens line the walls, showing views of different areas of
the Citadel, as well as the coordinates and vital statistics of it's
mechanized guardians.  The most impressive piece of equipment is what seems
to be a large targeting computer in the corner, which controls the aerial
defenses located at the top of the Citadel.

The underground river~

You have entered an enormous cavern that lies beneath the Citadel's
foundations.  Through it runs an underground river, on the banks of which is
a large dock complex at which many craft are moored.  The watercraft come
from every conceivable era, and ancient canoes stand next to futuristic
speedboats, and piratical longships bob gently next to high-tech hovercraft.

An antechamber~

This large room is sumptously decorated with many ancient, modern, and
future works of art.  The floor is marble, and red velvet curtains hang from

The Time Chamber~

This walls of this huge, cathedral-like chamber are made of some strange
crystalline substance, and arch hundreds of feet into the air.  They glow
faintly, filling the room with a brilliant ambience, the beauty of which

south you can enter the courtyard.

The library~

This small room is filledwith several hundred leatherbound volumes, the
subjects of which run the gamut from biography to mathematics.  Most of
them, though, seem to be historical works, though.  The library is peaceful,
with several comfortable-looking chairs spread throughout, and you feel the
urge to sit down and lose yourself in a book.

A study~

and study.  Several ancient oak desks are here, with comfortable chairs and
various writing materials and books.  Pictures of the founders of the order

Before the Chronomech~

You stand in the center of the enormous Time Chamber, heart of the
Citadel.  The walls arch hundreds of feet into the air , filling you with
awe at their unbelievable majesty.  You can hear a faint thudding sound, not
unlike the beating of a heart, emanating from deep within the Citadel.  Here
an enormous construction has been placed: the fabled Chronomech, a sentient
piece of machinery so complex and beautiful that it's said the gods
themselves had a hand in it's making.

The museum~

This cavernous chamber is filled with thousands of artifacts that have
been collected by members of the Order from several different eras.  Huge
stone monoliths stand next to delicate golden statues, while lining the
walls are hundreds of beautiful paintings.  There seems to be little order
to the collection; everything is scattered about haphazardly.  There seems
to be no security measures, a thought which puzzles you until you notice
that one of the huge statues has begun to move...  
You notice a small curtained doorway that leads south.

A hidden lair~

Derk's private sanctum~

This is Derk's private sanctum, here he can escape the cares and worries
of this world or the next by retreating here.  A large bearskin rug lies on
the floor in front of the fireplace with a cheery fire blazing merrily away
within it.  All sort of things clutter up the room from ancient weapons,
rusting armor to moldy scrolls and some things you think you might have an
idea of what they are, but don't really want to think about it.  What Derk
does with his own time is his own business.
