immortal providing this service, so do not bother

You stand in the center of a vast chamber constructed of marble and gold.
The Temple of Methidoral must surely be a vision of paradise; the
crystalline walls arch hundres of feet into the air, meeting at the domed
ceiling.  Colorful frescos line the walls, depicting the epic struggles of
gods and men, and both the joys and hardships that this world contains. 
Robed acolytes kneel at the great altar, chanting softly in an ancient
language, their soft murmur punctuated by the melody of prayer bells
swinging in the breeze.

The main street of Methidoral is a very wide cobblestone street.

The crossing of Astral and Main is busy, but the throng of people is still
bearable.  Every now and then, a fight erupts between an arrogant mage and
an equally arrogant adventurer.  Pyrotechnics, hacks, slashes, and screams

have grown accustomed to open feuding in the streets.  The cityguards pay

A throng of people enter Main Street from the south, and you can hear the
chattering and bartering of people at a market.  Your pace is slowed down by

various potion-making herbs, and possibly even the smell of pet animals.

The market square is arguably the busiest intersection in all of
Methidoral.  Street vendors hawking illegal wares try to escape notice by the
cityguards, adventurers run from one store to another collecting supplies
for journeys outside the town, and common citizens meander down the streets.
The whole intersection is a swirling vortex of colors, odors, and sounds. 
Clutching your head, you attempt to find a quieter place in the city.

well-fitted by talented craftsmen.  Overall, the city of Methidoral appears to
be well taken care of, and the people seem to be wanting for little.

As you walk along Onyx Street, you come across the occasional holy man

together in harmony, however.  The occasional scuffle between rival clans

their clothes like a baby clings to its mother.

between the clans is mostly ignored by the city, as long as none of its
citizens get pulled into the frays.

beggars wearing rags and looking for their next meal.

in Methidoral.  The houses here are made out of thick river stone and solid

A Small Valley~

population is quite sparse.  The smell of the unguents and agents used in
the tanning of leather keeps most people away.  If you are skilled at
