A Mountain Trail~

Inside the South Gate~

the lack of guards at the gate.

The other travelers on Uraag's Road are mostly the barbarian inhabitants

wind whips through your garments.  The distant sound of a hammer on an anvil
can be heard far to the west.

Main Intersection~

The intersection of Uraag's Road and Groog's Way appears to be one of the
busiest in Hammerheim.  Set on a pedestal is the huge hammer which is the

The Hammerheim shrine looms to the north.  The seat of the real power in

place of worship for the masses, and also serves as an academy where people
can go to receive special training.

The Great Shrine~

needy of Hammerheim is here.  Milling about are citizens of the town which

The Chamber of the Overlord~

The chamber of the Overlord is a very lavishly decorated room.  That is,
lavish for a barbarian.  The stout furniture in the room is covered with
very fine velvet, and the thick walls keep out the cold winds blowing
outside.  The look on the Overlord's face makes you wonder if you should
have scheduled an appointment.

The Hall of Sweat~

All around you are the sweaty bodies of half-clad barbarians.  Nyrmaal,
the trainer, really knows how to provide a workout.  The thoroughness of her
teaching pays off, however.  At least it seems that way by the looks of
these barbarians.  The heat generated by the warm bodies makes this room one
of the most pleasent in Hammerheim.  The smell of the people working out
isn't so pleasant, however.

The Hall of Studies~

Leather bound books written in the tongue of the barbarian lands line the
bookcases of this room.  A rug on the floor and a fire in the hearth makes
this room very cozy by barbarian standards.  This hall of studies contains
the heart of the barbarian wisdom and knowledge, which is surprisingly
immense.  Tygaar, the wise scholar, could probably teach you a thing or two.

At Village Hall~

North Gate Alley~

The alley runs between some houses in the residential section of

Before a Strange Mansion~

A strange mansion stands to the west.  Twisted and gnarled strees stand
sentinel around it, and weird, flickering lights come from inside.  The door

there is another way in.  There is also a very large portal here, in which
you can see the Hierophant of Methidoral.

The Shaman's Hideout~

It was an incredibly huge mistake to have entered this room.  The shaman,
whom you have disturbed in a secret ritual is not very happy to see you.  A
quick survey of the room reveals all matter of arcane items.  Candles are
arranged in the shape of a pentagram, and runes have been drawn from fresh
blood.  On the floor is a trapdoor, and the only other exit is a locked door
to the east.

The people you meet on Holy Way have a wild look in their eyes.  They

perch on the edges of the building which soars high into the sky.  A
