his shoulder.

The guard before you is much taller than most of the other minotaurs. 
His horns would scrap across the top of the tower if he were to stand on his
toes.  He leans on his battlehammer while standing in the center of the
tower.  His large brown eyes are able to pick out the tiniest detail from a
distance.  If anything were to happen to the city, he looks capable of
defending the village.  He keeps in large, metallic armor in pristine
condition.  The battlehammer in his hand is large enough to cleanly knock
off a head or two.  Clearly, this is a minotaur that isn't to be messed
with.

is filled with many arrows.  His bow is slung over his back.

His old age is apparent from the gray hairs running down his back.  One of
his wrinkled hands leans on the back of the silver throne in order to help
him stand.  The pristine white robes hanging from his shoulders stop only
near his ankles.  The hood of the robe is currenly hanging down his back. 
You're not sure if he ever wears the hood up since minotaurs are equiped
with such large horns.

of armor overlap each other.  With every intake of breath, you can hear the
breast plates hit upon each other.  There isn't a dent or blemish to be
found on the armor.  A silhouette of the minotaur is stamped on the right
breastplate.  A leather belt is wrapped around his waist.  A large hammer
hangs from a loop on the belt.

The high male of the First Family guards the house from invasion.  He
drapes himself in a long, black cloak which floats behind as he moves.  He
is wearing a set of light chainmail armor on his body.  As he walks around
the house, his eyes stare intently at every inch of the house for any
changes.  The two large scimitars at his side glint in the light as he
passes by.

Vesz is unusually tall for this tribe of Drow.  She towers over the pool
of blood in front of her.  Her long dress flows onto the ground and the
trail drags a few feet behind her.  The dress is made from crushed velvet
and looks incredibly soft to the touch.  The blood from the pool drips off
her long fingernails.  As you look upon her face, the only impression you
can remember are her little dark eyes.  Her eyes remind you of your darkest
nightmare and you wish to never look in them again.

of this or any tribe.  Two large and red horns stick out from the top of his
hooded head.  The tips of the horns sporadically drip small amounts of
blood.  Two large white orbs peer out from the eyeslits of the mask.  Three
long blackish arms are crossed across his chest.  The scaly arms of this
creature glisten in the light from some moist covering.  A thick tail hangs
behind the creature as he floats in the air.

Top of a Guard Tower~

An open trapdoor is in the center of the floor here at the top of the
tower.  A wood ladder reaches up into the tower.  On each side of the tower
are openings used by the guards to look over the village and surrounding
area.  A table and two chairs sits to the side of one of these openings. 
The chairs look worn from constant use from the guards.  The view out on of
the openings is spectacular as one can see far in all directions.

Inside a Guard Tower~

A wood ladder reaches up to the top of the tower.  The top end of the
ladder reaches a little over the edge of an opened trapdoor.  Along the

case of an attack.

the floor show where the sacks are usually unrolled.  An extremely small
chest sits off to the side of the sacks.  A window allows the family to see
the outer wall.

center.  Burnt logs and ashes litter the bottom of the hole.  Some wood

corner.  Bugs crawl through the pile.

Eastern Guard Wall~

A massive wall towers over the village.  The tower stands many lengths
higher than even the tallest of giants.  There are scorch marks covering the
wall in many places.  This wall must have survived hundreds of battles.  All
damaged bricks are quickly repaired as there are several patch marks.  You
can hear the stomping of feet from the guards walking along the top of the
wall.

Top of a Guard Tower~
~
~
The top of the guard tower is basically barren except for the single wood
table against the side wall.  A slight draft comes in through the small
openings on each side of the tower.  These openings is where the guards can
look out over the surrounding area and the village.  The table has several
slices taken out of it from combat.  The walls of the tower are also covered
with battle scars.  A wood ladder stretches up through an open trapdoor in
the center of the room.

Inside a Guard Tower~

The wood ladder continues to go up and down in the inside of the tower. 
The walls have been badly burned in the past as there are still black marks
up and down the walls.  A small collection of weapons hang off tiny hooks in
each wall.  When under attack, the guard reinforcements can grab a weapon on
the way up or down.

Corner of the Village~
~
~
The dirt path that travels the perimeter of the village takes a turn to
the east and north.  Several parts of the wall have been patched up, and
some blocks have been replaced.  There is a tall tower that stretches from
the top of the wall.  An arched doorway leads into a small room under the
tower.  A wood ladder stretches up into the tower from within this room.

Southern Guard Wall~

The perimeter wall towers above you to the south.  The signs of combat
have been left in many places along the wall.  The dirt path that goes along
the base of the wall is devoid of all plant life.  After so many years of
use, nature has given up its attempts at conquering this path.  The sounds
of children come from somewhere in the village.

Southern Guard Wall~

A dirt path travels along the base of the village's guard wall.  Small
particles of dirt blow along the ground whenever even a slight breeze sweeps
by.  The buildings along the path are constructed from the same type of
blocks as the wall.  The blocks appear to be extremely solid and can
probably withstand massive damage.  This is the type of material needed when
living under constant warfare.

Southern Guard Wall~

The wall stretches off towards the east and west.  When one looks up,
they can make out the outline of a guard walking along the top of the wall. 
This wall has stood its ground against many raids upon the village.  The
signs of battle scattered along the wall are proof of its durability.

Entrance to the Village of Cebu~

The village of Cebu consists of many small dwellings and huts.  There is
one tall structure stretching high into the sky.  The tall structure is a
little to the northwest from the entrance.  It is hard to see exactly what
kind of building it is.  A thick guard wall surrounds the village.  A path
travels along the bottom of the wall while another path goes north into the
village.

Southern Guard Wall~
~
~
A solid wall has been erected along the perimeter of the village. 
Construction was started on this wall right after the founding of the
village.  It has survived many attacks from outside tribes.  The signs of
ancient battles still mark the wall.  The shadow of one of the wall's guards
covers part of the dirt path in front of you.  Guards walk upon the top of
at all times to keep watch for attacks.

Southern Guard Wall~

Several little houses line the northern side of the path.  They are only
a few feet from the thick wall guarding the village.  A fresh pie sits on
one of the window ledges of one of the houses.  The aroma floats by your
nose on the soft breeze.  A little child is trying to reach one of the pies.
His arms are just a bit too short to reach the ledge.

One of the houses to the north has a small yard.  It appears that most of
the village's children come here to play during the day.  Only a couple
blades of grass have survived the constant trampling of the children.  The
children are using their heads to pass a ball to each other.  Its amazing
the children do not impale the ball with their horns very often.

The path curves along with the village's guardian wall.  In the curve there

Top of a Guard Tower~

An opened trapdoor is in the center of the room.  There is a wood ladder
sticking through the trapdoor.  A small wood table sits against one of the
walls.  Two chairs rest on opposite sides of the table in case the guards
wish to rest their tired bones.  Openings looking out over the village and
surrounding lands are on each side of the tower.  This is where the guards
keep watch for invaders.

Standing before the Village of Cebu~

The gates of Cebu rise from the field of grass.  A stone wall encompasses
the village.  The wall towers high above the village.  A couple guards stand
on the wall above the gate.  They peer intently at all who pass through the
gate.  The wall has survived many battles but has taken abuse from the
fighting.  The spiked bottom of the gate juts out from the top of the
entrance.

A Path Through the Field~

The grass has been slightly trampled.  The trampled ground is in a
pattern moving to the north.  The grass to the south is walked upon but not

A Path in the Field~

The wind blows meekly across this grassy field.  The field expands to the
north approaching the village of Cebu.  The region of Grasfels consists of
scattered tribes of minotaurs in the grassy plains and the rarely traveled
Dunkel Mountains.  The mountains can be seen aways to the south as the
grassy plains stretch to the north.

Beginning of a rocky path~

The grass is becoming littered with more rocks as the plains emerge into
a hilly terrain.  Rocks are scattered around the grass.  Upon closers

ground is slowly sloping upwards as the terrain gets closer to the
mountains.

Curved Mountain Path~

A path going up into the mountains starts here at the bottom.  The rocks
begin to get higher and more rugged as one moves further on the trail.  The
large rocks make it hard to move as the trail curves around many of the
rocks.  Small pebbles roll down the path as movement knocks them loose.

Mountain Path~

The path through the mountains has come to an end.  The walls of rock are
too high and thick to overcome.  The pebbles all over the ground roll under

Mountain Path~

The path continues to move through the Dunkel Mountains.  The rocks
keep going up the side of the mountain.  A trail goes off the main path to

The rocky terrain makes it difficult to cover ground.  Rocks stick out of

A Cold and Dark Cave~

The temperature seems to have dropped considerably in this cave.  The
light from outside cannot break the darkness.  The caves goes deeper back

look to have long burned their last.  A puddle of water has frozen over to
the side of the logs.

The trail has run into a dead end.  The rocks climb really high and are
impossible to get over.  Dust has started to twirl in the air as a stiff

The trail has come to a dead end.  The rocks are not as sharp as the ones

boulder.

Crossing and Twisting Caves~

A set of caves has been dug out from the underbelly of the Dunkel
Mountains.  The caves twist and turn every few feet.  They cross each other
all over the place.  There are not any significant differences in the walls.
It appears that someone took the time to make the walls of this rocky maze
look exactly the same as the rest.

The path curves around the northwestern corner of Anxi.  The height of
the cavern is undetectable from this point.  The rock seems to keep

on the edges of the divit.

A circular pool has been dug into the cavern floor.  The pool is filled
with blood which drains out of a small hole in the wall.  The blood is being

silence periodically.  The pool is filled with boiling blood, and some blood
spurts over the sides from some of the bursting bubbles.

The temperature has risen dramatically when walking into this room.  As
one takes a look around, the reason might come from the walls being

engraving on the tomb's lid is of the child's silhouette with a spider below
her.

The wall of rock has taken a break here.  A section of rock has been
replaced with a thick sheet of glass.  The glass is warped so that it is
difficult to see what is on the other side.  The glass is the same perfect
condition as the rocky walls of the city.  There is not a single scratch on
the sheet of glass.

The cavern reaches up into the darkness hiding the ceiling.  The western
side of the cavern continues to move to the west and east.  A path coming
from the inner reaches of the city intersects with the outer path.  A sense
of dread comes from the lack of sound coming from any direction.

The building to the north reaches high up into the mountain darkness. 
The top is beyond mortal vision but one can notice that the stone comes
together forming a spire.  There seems to something attached halfway up the
spire.  Across the path from this building is the outer wall of the city.

The path around the outer reaches of the city continue to the east and
west.  A large building to the north reaches toward the top of the cavern. 
After reaching to extreme heights, the building begins to converge into a
spire.  A large symbol is attached to the spire about halfway up.

The edge of the cavern is to the south.  The stone goes up beyond mortal
vision.  The shiny nature of the ancient rock warps the shadows into
lifelike creations.  There must be magic at work here because it is
practically impossible to hear anything beyond your reach.

The path curves around the southeastern corner of Anxi.  The height of
the cavern is undetectable from this point.  The rock seems to keep
traveling on up to the heavens.  The curve of the path is a perfect
semicircle without any deviations.  The rock is smooth to the touch and does
not show any signs of time.
