Before Lake Kiltrin~
Dead and lifeless trees reaching up into the blustery sky meet your eyes 
as you gaze around this desolate landscape.  Cold dust blows around at your
feet and forces you to squint to keep the annoying dirt out of your eyes.  To
your south the faint trail leads back into darkness while just to your north
lies the intimidating Lake Kiltrin.  The black waters of the lake seem to 
drain the light away from the surrounding area and send shivers up your
spine. Far out on the lake, the shadow of a great tower juts into the sky,
above and beyond any hope of sighting its apex.

On the southern area of Lake Kiltrin~
Ice cold water surrounds you in a veil of darkness which normal light
has difficulty penetrating.  Crisp breezes brush across your face and toss
the ever present mist into your eyes.  Cloud covered skys protect this evil
lake from receiving any type of natural light.  Kiltrin Lake is unusually
quiet and still, far from the rumors that you may have heard about what
dangers have been encountered here.  A stone tower juts out of the lake to
your north and continues until it passes through the cloud cover as well.
The forest thins out enough to the south to allow passage back towards some
semblance of life.

   The winds have increased here slightly, and chill you to the bone more
than they had been.  Silence surrounds you along with the darkness and the
cold, lifeless waters.  The north edge of the lake is covered in thick and
decayed underbrush preventing any hope of travel in that direction.  To your
south, the dark Tower of Kiltrin stands unmoving, enveloped in a shroud of
shadows.

Entrance Portal to the Tower of Kiltrin~
   You find yourself in a dark room with strange runes carved into the
stone walls surrounding you.  The low ceiling and dampness of this room
reminds you distinctly of dungeons and you catch yourself glancing around
looking for any signs of torture devices.  Fortunately, there is none.
On the south wall is that strange bluish doorway leading back into the 
dreary waters of Lake Kiltrin.  How it seals the water outside, you don't
know, but one thing is certain, there are many strange forces at work
here and that may be just a small example of greater powers to come.

The tunnel widens a bit, but comes to an abrupt end as the only visible
exit is back to the north.  Dark stone surrounds you and reeks of mildew and
stagnant air, forcing you to twinge your nose.  Next to the one of the stone
walls, at the southern edge of this small room, lies a pile of bones and
useless equipment.  Flashes of %1red%0 are still visible off to the north
of this tunnel.  It appears that this is indeed a dead end.

Below the great stairway~
As you enter this enormously large room, %4fear%0 races through your veins
and forces you to tighten the grip on your weapon.  Black stone swirling
with various colors line the walls, floor, and high vaulted ceiling.  Dark
statues on either side of the entranceway to this room loom evilly above
you standing nearly 15 feet in height.  Before you, lies a stairway of
smooth black stone and leads up into darkness.  Off to either side of the
stairway are more statues of large beasts and even larger men, all with
some type of evil looking weapon in their grasp.  The small corridor leads
back east into even more darkness.

Climbing a great stairway~
You climb several hundred stairs and suddenly SLAM into a solid, 
invisible barrier, which prevents you from going any further up the
staircase. All efforts to break this barrier down prove to be futile and
you wonder what force could create such a barrier.  Through the barrier,
the staircase continues to lead up into darkness, but you realize that
you will probably not be able to reach the other side of the barrier by
trying to break through it.  The stairs continue down back to the large
room where they originated.

You find yourself on a great staircase leading both up and down into
darkness. Smooth black stone, slippery to the touch, comprise the massive

Beginning of the grand corridor~
This smaller corridor opens up into a larger one decorated with a
%3bronze%0 metallic plating covering the surface of that death black
stone found throughout the rest of this tower.  Small dents in the 
plating and scattered holes from floor to ceiling allow glimpses of
the smooth stone lying beneath it.  As a result of all the %3bronze%0,
there is a metallic smell caught up in the various breezes blowing up
and down this corridor.  Above, the %7white%0 tiled ceiling makes its
way steadily upward and marks a sharp contrast against the black stone
floor. Ahead, to the north, the corridor leads into darkness.

Center of a round hall~
   You find yourself teleported to the center of a fairly large, circular
room.  The rampant chaos of those strange white tunnels has left imprints
on your eyes and it takes a moment for them to adjust to the darkness of
this room.  A high vaulted ceiling towers over you, while the floor is made
of a simple stone, normal in texture and grey in color.  Surrounding you,
however, is what appears to be a thin barrier, translucent in nature.  All
attempts to pierce the barrier prove to be futile.  Darkness also surrounds
you and movements of some sort can be heard beyond the strange barrier
in every direction.

  Stone pillars reach up from the floor and connect to the dark ceiling
overhead.  Scratches similar to claw marks cover each pillar as they lurk
in front of you.  Between the pillars, stands a HUGE statue, made purely 
of stone.  A proud warrior, dressed in strange garmets is represented by
the statue and he has both hands rested on an enormous stone sword encrusted
with two jewels, one shimmering red, the other a deep blue, and both set
into the pummel of the sword just above the handset.  Beyond the statue
lies a hallway, blocked by the statue, and its ceiling concealed in dark
shadows.

  The runes continue to line the walls, floor, and ceiling here and pulse

the north, a large statue seems to stand at the end of the passage, while

you lies a large gate, fixed in elaborate jewels and golden decorations with
a large crystaline face of sorts set into the middle of the gate.  You can
go to either side of the gate or travel north, back up the corridor which
brought you here.

other sections of this tower, this area is suprisingly bright, with light
from an unknown origin reflecting brightly off all the metallic materials that
scatter the walls and floor here.

renews your enthusiasm to journey further on throughout this tower of
evil. For a moment, while the opportunity presents itself, you simply
inhale deeply the clean spring air, letting it fill you with a sense of
peace and tranquility. Moments after the euphoria has worn off, you see
a small tunnel leading to the south, dark and mysterious, just as the
rest of the tower thus far has %B%3been%0.

lines the walls, some dried up over time, some fresh.  In the northern

ablaze with anger, horns sprouting from its head, teeth larger than most
men.

crystal clear mirrors to add to the confusion.  Grunts, groans and other
vile sounds filter in from the west, their origins unknown as of yet.
One thing you do notice, is that the crypt is softly lit with a glow of
intense %6bluish%0 light.  A pleasant breeze wafts around you from the

fit securely into some type of dark metallic substance mounted in a 
linear way towards the north.  You also notice a small incline in the

Atop a huge pedestal rests one of the most magnificent sights you have
ever claimed witness to.  A gigantic globe, pulsating with a %4blue%0
radiance emits an evil so incredibly focused, you find it hard to even
spare a quick glance in its direction.  In your travels you may have
heard rumors of the great %B%4Globes of Aurealis%0.  Perhaps, you have
even seen one.  Now, you are sure, you have.  Little is known about the
Globes, other than they represent some sort of balancing mechanism which
holds the strings of reality together.  For however many Globes that exist
which represent goodness, balance and benevolence, there are those, such
as this one, which represent evil, chaos and disorder.  Surrounding this
