%B%6VT100%0 (RoA's %5menu bar%0 option for VT100 compliant comm programs)

For those of you who meet the following connection requirements, there is
a '%5menu bar%0' available on RoA now. First, you must have both of the
following two things to fully benefit from this '%5menu bar%0':

%61%0) Your comm software must be set on either VT100 or ANSI-BBS emulation.
Some comm programs are more comfortable with color than others.

%62%0) At least a 9600 baud connection to RoA, slower modem speeds will
work, however, overall mud performance will suffer due to refreshing
of your menu bar. (It's performance on your end that will suffer.)

To initiate VT100 menu bar mode, the command is:
%bvt100 +%0

To reset your screen back to normal, non vt100 mode:
%bvt100 -%0

To refresh your display at any time:
%bcls%0

Your prompt will be displayed in the middle of the menu bar at the
bottom of the screen. You can customize it as you wish.
Special Note: See %BHELP BARS%0 for information on the VT100 bars.

%B%4Update%0: The old VT100 code only allowed for screen sizes of 80
lines long. This is configurable now, see %Bhelp vtsize%0.
