OLQC

Online quest creation enables builders of GOD+ level (others upon
request) to incorporate quests into their zones without the need of having
direct immortal supervision and/or participation and without them having
to be hard coded into the mud. In combination with RoAOLC's mobproc
capabilities and object assembly code, intricate quests can be created
online via the familiar RoAOLC menu driven interface.
Initially, these quests will be simple "retrieve the object" and "slay
this mob" quests, with simple rewards such as experience points and quest
points. However, this can quickly be expanded with the use of object
assembly code (construct a mystical sword out of pieces scattered
throughout the realms) and actual object and gold rewards. With said
object rewards, quests can be "stacked" on top of one another, making for
one extremely large quest. Quests of this type, in and of themselves, are
nearly boundless.
The evolution of quests at this point is hard to predict, but after a
while, I think that we can tier the level system here at RoA to require a
certain amount of quest points before advancement to the next tier is
allowed, such as in LPMuds. All in all, this particular addition to RoA
is monumental.

All questions pertaining to OLQC should be posted on the quest board, such
as "What does this flag mean?" and "What happens if so and so does this?"
