BUILDING GUIDELINES

This is a set of our guidelines for builders. They should be followed by
the book, except where they are specified as guidelines and not rules. The
purpose of these is to keep our world as balanced as possible. Please make
sure to follow them.
   They are set up as a series of wizhelpfiles starting with a G (which,
of course, stands for 'Guideline'). For example, for the guidelines on
items that cast spells (aside from spelleq) (these being potions, staves,
wands, and that sort of thing), type 'wizhelp gwands,' 'wizhelp gstaves,'
'wizhelp gpotions,' and so forth. They are all lumped together in one,
since they follow the same guidelines. A list of the available guidelines
follows this text.
   Be sure to keep yourself familiar with what is contained in these
helpfiles. Know also that postings made on 1204 or 1209 take precedence
over what is shown in these helpfiles.
   As always, direct your questions about them to any veteran builder or
to Mouseglove, Head of Building.
