GMINLEVELS GWEAPONS

-=guidelines for deciding minlevels on weapons and other items=-

This contains rules for setting object and weapon minlevels. These guidelines should
be followed in order to prevent the imbalance and stat escalation which we've seen
in the past.

Weapon minlevels by average damage (figured by max_damage + min_damage /2):
AVG DAM:    MINLEVEL:
  1-15      same as avg damage

Every +/- 1 stat/damroll/hitroll affects the minlevel by +/- 1.
Every +/- 1 hp/mana/move_regen affects the minlevel by +/- 1.
Every +/- 10 hit points/mana/move affects the minlevel by +/- 1.
The SPELLEQ flag itself adds 5 minlevels.
An offensive SPELLEQ SPELL from submenu 23 adds 15.
A defensive SPELLEQ SPELL from submenu 23 adds 10.
An other SPELLEQ SPELL from submenu 23 adds 5.
The SPELLEQ Effects spells from submenus 24 and 25 affect the minlevel thussly:

Max Structure Points (materials and obj hits) affect minlevel as follows:
  *     1-100    SP: -6     You'll be expected to set your max SP according
  *   101-500    SP: -3     to the natural substance ratings for non-magical
  *   501-1500   SP: -2     weapons.  Magical weapons should start at their
  *  1501-3000   SP: -1     natural substance rating and go up from there
  *  3001-6000   SP:  0     depending on the bonuses, RP background of the
  *  6001-12000  SP: +1     weapon, etc.  You may be asked to justify the
  * 12001-22000  SP: +2     #'s you use, so be sure you've thought about it
  * 22001-30000  SP: +3     and not just haphazardly thrown some numbers
  * Invulnerable SP: +6     into the structure points slot.
