A high intelligence score will allow you to learn certain things more
easily. For example, if you have an INT of 18 you will learn spells
and skills faster than if you had an INT of 10. With a high INT score
you will also be more likely to cast your spells successfully. Finally
a high INT score also allows you to meditate easier, therefore 
allowing you to regain your mana faster. If you have high INT and 
high WIS you will see very fast mana regeneration.
