RTERRAIN TERRAIN -=RoAOLC's redit tool's terrain types=- RoAOLC's redit, room-editing tool allows you to specify a number of different terrains for your room, using redit's 4th submenu. Each terrain type is described below. Remember that any one room may only have one of these terrain types. -=-=-=- 1.) Inside* <few move points needed to enter, stays lit at night, default type> 2.) City <few move points needed to enter, stays lit at night*> 3.) Field <more move needed to enter, darkens at night> 4.) Forest <same as above, but takes away more movement points> 5.) Hills <same as above, but takes away more movement points> 6.) Mountains <same as above, but takes away most movement points> 7.) Water Swim <any may enter this, takes few move, gives you submenu 9 (which allows you to determine where things drift to when dropped in this room which lack the ANCHORED object flag)> 8.) Water NoSwim <any may enter this IF they have a boat, gills, or a nixie, takes few move, and gives you submenu 9 (which, along with a drift_to field, lets you set a drop_to destination for objects lacking the ANCHORED or BOUYANT object flags)> 9.) Underwater <the same as above, although only nixies or players with gills may enter, gives you submenu 9 (adding the float_to field, letting you determine where players whose gills wear off or objects with the BOUYANT object flag float to when dropped)> 10.) Air <takes few move, one may enter only if a pixie or drakyn in flight or affected by wings, gives you submenu 9 (which gives you only a drop_to field, for when your wings wear off or your corpe to go when you die or objects to fall to when dropped)> *-Stays lit unless the rflag DARK has been set on the room.
