When being attached, wearing armor is helpful for reducing damage
taken. Armor is classified by a number between -100 and 100.
The second number <if still relevant> means nothing. Any AC below 0
is considered very well armored and the further below 0 is, the 
harder they are to hit in combat. AC above 0 gets gradually worse
as it approaches 100.
Typing "armor" will allow you to see what number affect your armor
has upon your person.
