NAME   Entrance to the Crumbling Temple~
DESCR
An ancient stone archway crumbles under the weight of time and the wild vines and
creeping bushes have taken hold within the multitude of cracks. It appears the only
thing holding this place together are the tangles of wild growth upon it. Leaning
against the side of the archway is a tiny figure almost hidden within the folds of
its oversized emerald robes.

NAME   An overgrown courtyard~
DESCR
What once was a fine cobblestone courtyard is now overgrown with a thick moss on the
ground and sparse wildflowers have driven themselves up between the cracks. Hanging
moss runs down from the rotting support beams that may have once supported another
floor above. A musty scent wafts through the breeze that always seems to be blowing
through this place, a reminder of the rotting and age of where you now walk.

NAME   A silent alcove~
DESCR
It is almost silent here save the chirping of the birds and the slow steady hum that
drifts in from the west. Stone rubble lies in the corner of the tiny room, where mighty
tree limbs have slowly worked their way through what was once a stone wall. Fungus and
moss form a carpet upon the decrepit stone floor, giving it a spongy feel when walked
upon. There is a warm moisture that blows in from the nearby swamps.

NAME   Base of the crumbling stairs~
DESCR
Alcoves sit empty within the walls, perhaps long ago containing idols of the past 
inhabitants of this now rotting temple. The same wild growth creeps into every nook
and cranny that it can cling to. The shafts of light that pour in through the decaying
walls intensify the vibrant green of the plant growth, and makes it glow with warmth.

NAME   Upon the stairs of Faith~
DESCR
A flight of stone stairs leads upwards, the wear and tear evident upon the indentions
upon each step. The wild growth has not found its way onto these, as if there is 
something about them that impedes their growth. The walls to each side have long ago
crumbled, giving a fantastic view of the swamps to the south, and the woods to the 
north. Archaic runes run along each step, a long forgotten tongue by mortal men.

NAME   Nearing the top of the stairs~
DESCR
Nearing the top of the flight of stairs, each rune upon the steps seem to vibrate with
unseen ancient power. The walls on each side have long since fallen into the swamp
below, allowing a clear view of the landscape about you. Further up you notice briars
rimming an ancient doorframe and a scent of moist earth lingers in the air.

NAME   Upon a platform of briars~
DESCR
A mass tangle of briars and thorns coat the aging stone walls of this room. In the 
middle of this prickly refuge is the guardian of the Sylvan. A hulking beast the shape
of a centaur with a wide rack of menacing horns. The sharp shapes of the thorns and
briars paint an agonizing picture of pain for any who are unlucky enough to dash into
them. An overwhelming sense of pride and hate radiate from this room. Pride for those
who fight..and hate for any who would dare trespass here.

NAME   A defaced altar of sacrifice.~
DESCR
A toppled statue of onyx lies in pieces upon the moss laden floor. The few stones of
the wall are stained deep crimson, suggesting the nature of the rituals that were once
performed here. The new inhabitants of this temple have carved tributes into the stones
praising the moon, in hopes its pale light will find the lost souls here and guide 
them to the earth. A pale-gray light almost always illuminates this room, seeming to
resonate off the stones and the crude etchings that shimmer in the night.

NAME   The reflecting pool~
DESCR
Nearly nothing remains of this room but a lone stone wall standing to the west. On either
side where walls once stood, the upper branches of ancient trees now rustle in the 
warm breeze blowing off the swamps to the south. A small indention has been worn into
the exact middle of the room and filled with a slightly emerald water. Several druids
wander about the pool gazing into it as if they can see something you do not. The
canopy of the forest overshadows this place, allowing only the smallest amount of 
light to get through which shimmers on the pool, giving the place an eerie feeling.
