NAME
     clear_screen -  "returns  escape  sequence  to  clear  VT100
     screen

SYNOPSIS
     string clear_screen ();

DESCRIPTION
     If  this_player()  has  the  "vt100"  attribute  set,   this
     simul_efun  will  return  the  VT100  "screen  clear" escape
     sequence, so that the string will  clear  the  screen  on  a
     VT100-compatible terminal.  If "vt100" is not set, returns a
     null string.

     NOTE:  Do NOT use ed to edit the file vt100.c, or the escape
     sequences  will be corrupted.  (ed strips out escape charac-
     ters).
