Thankyou for joining NT Users Anonymous. We have a 95% recovery rate with only a 12% recidivism rate after one year. I'm sure you'll do well and prove that you too can be a valuable human and a useful member of society again. We look forward to helping you with your recovery. <kof> <<Sorry, this is a rather odd day so far>> >Aside: Any opinions on the best input device for graphical work? I have background in CAD (spent 5 years writing 3rd party apps for the Intergraph/Microstation market). It left me with a great liking and admiration for graphics tablets. Don't get anything smaller than 18"x18". Summagraphics are good. Kurta IS/One's can be had cheap on the second hand market ($100- $150) and aren't bad if discontinued. If you can get something like a 24"x30" you'll be doing great. Ensure that your software can also handle tablet menus as well. Most low-end products can't. Tablet menus are printed sheets your place on the tablet under plastic. They are essentially diagrams of hot spots. You can then click on the items on the menu (which are usually icons (remember, most pucks have at least 4 buttons, some 16 or more)) to invoke the relevant function. The result is that you never need touch the keyboard, and never need to have a graphics control, tool pad, button bar or similar on screen. >OTOH, I am still quite fond of ActiveX, conceptually.
