You bow as you enter a room that is dedicated to the study of martial 
arts and combat.  The bare wooden floors and loose fitting wall planks 
provide a simple setting suitable for the practice of fighting skills.  
Wooden racks line the walls, holding weapons of many varieties, 
including the Bo, Kama, and Sword.  A mist of sweat lingers in the air 
from a previous sparring session.

The Combat Room~
You enter a large room, with high ceilings and a black-and white floor. 
Looking closer, you see the floor is a chessboard. There are many diagrams 
on the walls illustrating ideal fighting techniques, ways for spellcasters 
to best concentrate in battle, and best angles for backstabbing and knifing. 
Equipment of battle hangs on the walls, some seemingly still bloodied. 
You see several clan members honing their skills and comparing equipment 
as they spar.

This individual is garbed in robes of grey that seem to swirl and shift as 
you look at them, so you can never say they are dark or light grey. This 
individual is not distinguishable as male or female. You think you see

feel the instinctive urge to kill, to plunge your trembling blade into warm

back of your mind, something reminds you that the battles on this stage

support the high ceiling.  This is the Entrance hall to the Clan Arena.

The air in this room is very still and very thick.  Strewn across the
room you can see the blood and broken bones of those who have lost in
battle. These are the roots of conflict. This is where clan members can
come to battle with each other, whether it be friendly or not.  You can

You enter the weapons training arena through massive oaken doors. Lining the
high stone walls are many brightly burning torches. The light glints of off
large shields depicting the coats of arms of the many Clan houses. You notice
that the doors and the walls are scarred from many earlier battles. There is a
feeling of power here as you face your opponent.
