A Stinking Out-house~
You are standing in a dirty smelly out-house.  There seems to be more
flies in here than in all the outdoors.  A dirty wooden bench with about six
holes in it provides a place for the villagers to relieve their weary legs
and relieve themselves as well.  Judging by the stains on the floor,
some don't really care where they go.  As you glance at the bench, a big
black bug crawls up out of the hole and starts towards you.

The graves around you here seem to be fresh ones as it is just newly
packed dirt.  The death rate in this town is very high.  The young ones

The serf Graveyard~
The grounds you have entered stink of poverty and death as the whole of
the serf village does and from the crosses crudely fashioned from pieces of
wood you can see that it is a cemetary.  There are trees that hang darkly
all around the graves.  Weeds grow rampantly and shamelessly.  The cemetary
has a kind of road in between the graves and you see that it continues south
and east.

The Dog-house~

The Dump Road~
Papers blow past you like tumbleweed, the sight and smell of this place is
quite horrid.  It's not a very pleasant view, to say the least.  Further
off to the east, a massive pile of trash rises into the crimson sky.  You
can hear yelling and bickering over who found what first, and hope you do
not encounter such haggling.  You can travel south through a large mass of
debris, if you so desire; it is not, however, advised.

The Dump Road~
You now follow a trail of what looks like a cross between sludge and
urine, with a touch of coagulating blood; not a pleasant sight.  As though
the sight of it all wasn't enough, you have to deal with the smell.  A trail
has been cleared to the south which encircles a massive trash heap.

The Dump Road~
You continue along this unsightly dump, continually amazed at how
everyone seems to enjoy it here.  Scavengers rush about searching
desperately for items that can be sold to others.  It seems like such a
waste of time, and a disgusting activity, that you have no desire to rummage
through the waste.

Intersection on the Dump Road~
Looking down you notice a massive sewage grate that probably is the
source of all the sludge that flows along with muddy rain water.  Taking a
deep breath you nearly collapse from the smell of methane that penetrates
into your system.  The trail through the dump continues east and west and
you can see two lesser paths to the north and south.

Path of Debris~
It is obvious to you, by your marvelous gift of perception, that this is
a dump.  You can tell this by the multitude of various objects thrown about
in a disorderly fashion and the terrible stench that is emitted from the
ground and general vicinity.  This however is only known by the wisest
adventurers.  To the west is a battered old shack, and a sign stands
directly in front of you.

Path of Debris~
The small path turns off to the west, directly into more of this hideous
wasteland.  Garbage is piled nearly a mile high all about you, and you begin
to worry about it's stability.  At the top you see a rather large tin-can
that is precariously placed to say the least.  Better move quick before that
can comes toppling down on your crown.

Dead End~
This "Dead End" brings new meaning to the words "Dead End", for you find
the dump to be more like a mortuary than a dump.  The smell of decaying
bodies filters through-out the air stunning you briefly.  A voice echoes off
into the distant but is muffled in your dizzy state.  You can go no further,
for you'd surely be knocked out from all the noxious gases forming about.

Slagmuler's Sludgehouse~
You have entered the home of the dump-master.  He seems to be your
typical man on the job.  Boxes pile up in the one corner, while milk goes
bad on the wooden table.  A piece of meat grows all sorts of wonderful
fungus and apple cores and peach pits seems to stimulate the rat population.
A corner where feces-stained clothing lies, produce the most fetid aroma.

The Dump Road~
To the north and south vast quantities of garbage pile up to no end,
making passage impossible.  A wild selection has been dumped here,
everything from silver-plate armor with broken hinges to old boot-laces to
rotting food and waste disposal.  It's a terrible sight.  It's a terrible
smell.  You are having a bad day.

Intersection on Dump Road~
This is definately not a *ahem* "fine establishment".  To the east, you
see what looks to be a trading post, owned and operated by a rather large
ogre.  As your gaze turns to the south you can see the competition; a
brutally ugly female, at least you think she's female.  You will surely find
the best junk in the whole world in either of the two stores.

Egre's Imper Eum~
Etched in the stone wall with a blade you see the name of this store. 
It's obvious that the owner is very proud of himself for spelling it out,
and for even thinking of putting it there with his massive blade in the
first place.  Drool piles up in on the counter and vermits infest the
ground.  Egre's "Imper Eum" is open for business!

Stump's Trading Post~
Perhaps it's the fact that you find stores within a dump, or maybe that
the store owners continuously seem to have a brain the size of a pea,
whatever it is you will never allow yourself to get used to the the filthy
stench everywhere!  Stump's store seems a little more organized at any rate. 
This store is rat free.

Trail of Trash~
You continue to trudge throughout the dump gasping for breath and
commenting to yourself about how much you would rather be elsewhere.  To
the north you spy the main intersection, further south the stink gets worse.
The ground here is soft and mushy due to the juicy run-off produced from a
massive pile of trash just west of you.

Trail of Trash~
Your feet become packed with mud making your travels more difficult to
say the least.  A small alcove can been seen to the east, and the path
continues further to the south.  Large piles of rotting wastes arise west of
you.  You can make your way to and out of here by just smelling the air.

Alcove of Trash~
You find yourself pitted within a large amount of trash.  You notice
rodents move slowly throughout the lost papers and tin-cans, then suddenly
a massive roar comes from underneath the pile.  Perhaps you should run away
now!

Amongst the Trash~
You are now trudging through about two feet of garbage.  Wading about
like a madman, your mouth is filled with a terrible taste.  This is
certainly not a walk in the park.  You feel small animals race past your feet
sending shivers throughout your body.

Amongst the Trash~
The trash lightens a little to the east, in fact, a trail of sorts seems
to be eminent.  You are continually creeped out by the scampering of small
furry creatures that move about, nibbling on the trash, and your lower body
parts.  The dump seems to be completely void of visible life, as well as
magic.

Trail of Trash~
Looking high up you can barely see the top of the massive trash heap to
the east.  It looks as though children from the village dare to climb all
the way to the top, then tumble down with great speed.  The thought of even
setting foot in that disaster area quakes your weak body.

Trail of Trash~
A large mound of decaying waste rises to the east.  Rats scurry madly
about while you fear for the worst.  Everything looks the same around here,
perhaps you are lost.  For a brief moment you contemplate talking to one of
the many scavengers searching about, then you quickly gain your senses.  The
main path is directly to the north.

Trail of Trash~
The trail takes a small bend here, leaving the heap to stagnant off to
your north-east.  You watch closely as creatures sort through the trash
looking for anything that may be valuable.  You find it hard to fathom how
anyone could find anything of use here.

You will never get used to that awful smell that leaks into through your
armor.  It's become an obsession to find a safe route out of this madman's
land.  Your collar chokes with displeasure as you wonder aimlessly about.

Trail of Trash~
A crudge smell of rotting produce enters your nose turning your stomach. 
It's obvious that you are not the first to lose their lunch here, for
serveral piles of substance lie all about.  Everyone seems to be rather
immune to this, however you cannot fathom how one could ever become used to
something so foul.

Path out of Serf Village~
You have entered into some rather dense forest.  The trail still exists,
however it's usage has obviously declined greatly.  Sounds of many
forms of creatures echo throughout the land, and you stride onward
delving deeper into the forest.

Outside The Lords Estate~
The grounds here consist of well a kept large lawn, trimmed to
perfection.  Perfectly pruned flowers line each side of the walk that leads
to the estates main building.  Looking around you can catch glimpses of
servants descretely going about their daily chores just outside of your
view.  The building itself is at least three stories high with large bay
windows on the main floor and balconies outside the upper story windows. 
Flowering vines grow up the building adding a splash of color to the pure
white building.
