Entrance to the Canopy~
You find yourself looking around a vast clearing, totally encased by the

forest. Dense foliage weaves itself into a mesh of life, obstructing all

outside hinderances. Not even the brightness of the sun can break

through the tree line. Rocks of mass size hinder your movement deeper

into the clearing. A wall of trees and shrubs lay to the west stopping

your progress out of the canopy. The clearing is vast and most of it is

lush and green. Smoke rises from the far east of the clearing and makes

its way to the center of the canopy to the only hole in the tree line.

Southern Edge of the Canopy - Small Trail~
Eggs ranging in size from that of an average human to much larger than

any ogre lie scattered on the side of the trail. The aimless placement

of the eggs creates a complex maze throughout the clearing. Billowing

smoke darkens the sky far above the trail to the east. South of you

massive eggs shelter the trail from view. The trail seems to continue to

the north.

Center of the Canopy~
The intertwining limbs and branches seem to halt above you, creating a

hole large enough for any creature to enter or exit by flight. The

plumes of smoke from around the clearing funnel themselves to this area

and escape via the hole in the canopy. The trail splits here allowing

access from any direction. Darkness and smoke loom to the west, as the

foliage thickens creating a tunnel. The north and eastern sides of the

clearing are lined with eggs. Under your feet traces of ash cover the

ground like a fine powder.
