Inside a Dark Hole~
You stand in a damp, dark hole, but instead of dirt the floor and the

walls here are made of limestone. From the appearance of the walls, it

can be determined that this cave was carved from existing rock. The only

exits here are up and to the east. A candle mounted on the cave wall

provides light to the room.

The walls here feel as smooth as rocks found on the beach. Water

trickles down the wall, but there is not enough of the wetness to satisfy

Before a Damp Intersection~
The large and musty limestone tunnel looks out of shape and dilapidated.

The cavern walls are a far cry from the craftsmanship of the entrance. A

faint noise breaks the silence of the cave, but it is difficult to

determine its origin. The cave breaks off into several different paths.

Split in a Cave Corridor~
From a small crack in the top of the cavern, a steady drip of water falls

into a pile of dirt that has been tracked into the stone intersection.

In the wet dirt pile are some footprints that lead south. On the walls

are markings made in a red ink forming little symbols. Unfortunately the

humidity and claw markings have made reading the symbols impossible. To

the south is a path that slopes downward into darkness. The northern

path ascends into more limestone rock.
