N Sitting Room~
D You are standing in a large, well-appointed chamber.  Several large sofas
and easy chairs are scattered about the room.  Expensive statuary and vases
filled with flowers have been placed in strategic areas of the room, and
ancient- looking tapestries and paintings hang from the whitewashed stone
walls.  The floor is covered by plush black carpeting.  It is cool here, but
not too much so, and illumination is provided by four glowing globes that
float in the air.  Each globe is positioned in a different corner of the
chamber.

shiver as you think how much even one of those could bring at a sale in

You look at the black carpet.  Somehow, it seems to absorb more light than you
would have expected, and now that you think about it, it appears that there
are many tiny spots of white, which reminds you of a night sky.

Each globe depicts a different picture.  The first globe seems to depict
a small simple bedroom.  The second globe depicts a beautifuly carved
temple, while the third depicts a completely opposite scene of a horrible
torture chamber.  The forth and last globe depecits a dark ante-chamber.

N A Dimly Lit Chamber~
D You stand in a dark chamber, with the only illumination provided by guttering
torches that are in wall sconces.  Flames rise from several large holes in the
floor around the room, and you hear the screams of the damned as they receive
the punishment that they have earned for themselves.  Even more horrifying are
the various torture implements that are scattered about the room.  Among other
things, you see an iron maiden, pillories, a rack, a strappado, and a large
cage.  Near a firepit are several red-hot branding irons and pokers.  On a
wooden table in one corner are numerous smaller implements of torture --
needles, caltrops, pincers, hooks, knives, pliers, and thumbscrews.  Hanging
on the wall near the table are some whips, scourges, and coils of thick rope.
Finally, next to the table is a pair of iron boots, ready for their next
wearer.

N The Ivory Tower~
D You are standing in a small circular room, entirely surrounded by ivory
white walls.  The only visible contrast here is created by the very tall
window standing before you.  Looking out and leaning over, you can see the
sides of the mystical tower.  They are ornated with divine crystals and
beautiful carvings, all of a perfect white color.  You are shocked as you
look out to the horizon...  The tower seems to rise from total obscurity! 
You cannot see ground or sky, nor any horizon at all...  It is only now that
you realize what this tower represents.  It is a soul jail for evil, a
sacrificing altar for the sinners of the world.  There seem to be no visible
exits; surely the Creator of this tower needs none.

You look all around you into the great open and realize your are entirely
surrounded by obscurity.  Even as you look down at the farthest point of
your vision the ivory tower still stands, then dissapears into a black blur,
a sort of Nothingness that you cannot really define...

tower ivory sides crystals carvings~
This is undoubtfuly a divine tower, for only a supreme being could have
built such a mystical structure.  It has beautiful crystals and carvings
along the sides of the window, and two huge ivory elephant heads on the
sides of the tower.  Several shiny rocks decorate their forehead and
trump, while their eyes seem to be made of amber.  They represent the
eyes of the world, looking into the obscurity, watching us.

It has the shape of the tower itself : quite narrow but very tall!  It's
sides are covered with beautiful carvings of divine beings...  A large
window-ledge lets you lean over and admire the tower itself.

N The Entry Room of Despair~
D The room before you is a large square affair, its walls draped by
hangings of absolute black and the floor covered by blood red stones.  The
ceiling is covered by a mural depicting screaming humans and demi-humans
being clutched by misty claws, which appear to be dragging them into some
sort of pit or abyss.  Floating dead center in the room is a globe givin off
a strange crimson glow.

N Private Chambers~
D This small square room is completely plain except for a single exquisitly
crafted bed the center of the room.  No lights are in this room other than
what you may have brought in with you, and there are no exits at all. 
Rather, bare stone walls are in each direction.  Perhaps the owner of this
room goes here when he wants to be alone...
