You are standing in the temple of the Sun God, Yar. The steps are covered
with the remnants of recent sacrifices. An altar stands in the middle of the

Temple Street outside the temple.~
You are standing on Temple Street, just south of the Temple of the Yar.
People rushing by look away from you. Temple street continues to the east
and west, and Dal street heads south from here.

There are numerous weapons and pieces of armour on the shelves here.

To the east you see the Temple of Yar. To the west you can see the
infantry training grounds. To the south is a shop with a sign that
says "Junk". You see a brightly painted shop to the north that looks
relatively new. The sign on it says "Salvation on Sale". It has
symbols of the god Yar all over it.

hear much noise from ahead, and can make out the Temple of Yar farther

This building was apparently at one time a healer's home, but it appears to
have been burned out. There is nothing here anymore, yet you feel an eery

You are in yet another sleazy bar. This one appears, at least, to offer a
decent meal and good ale. There are several people here listening to the

You are in a quaint shop with tons of objects piled all over the shelves.
None of it looks very useful, but the shopkeeper appears to find some kind
of value in this stuff.

Residences line both sides of Dal Street here. People look at you with hate,
and you feel very unwelcome in this place.

Beginning of Dal Street~
There are guardhouses on both sides of you here. The heads of the former
townguards, several months old, are posted over the doors by the new
owners of the town. You feel this is a dangerous place to be. The town gates
are to the south of you, and to the far north you can just make out the temple.

Outside the gates of Adaria.~
You stand outside the gates of Adaria. Where once small wooden gates
stood, now massive iron gates stand. The city has changed much since the
armies of the Yar's supporters overthrew the government several months
before. A small plaque adorns the wall next to the gate.

air theatre. A sign is posted at the entryway.

You are standing in a small room below the temple. Symbols of the God
Aecindo, who the people of this town once worshipped, remain on the walls
here. Obviosly the secret passage above escaped the notice of the followers

You are two levels below the temple. There are bright lights flickering on the
walls here. There is a door to the south, and the staircase leads both up and

Here the hallway splits to the west and east. A large insignia graces the
wall before you. To the west, you can hear both the priests of Aecindo as well
as other voices. The east seems very quiet, and is not as well lit.

This small room contains several beds, and a bath. There are decorations
on the walls, obviously intended to make it feel more like home to those
who are stuck here.

This room has several beds and tables. It is obviously used as a barracks
for many of the refugees that have fled above. There is a small curtain,
behind which, is the bath.

You are in a large chamber. The walls are made of what appears to be
pure diamond, and every sound you make echoes over the silent room.
In the middle, you notice a gargantuan statue that glows slightly in the
darkness of the chamber.

The Headquarters~
This is the headquarters of the small army that belongs to these people
There is a large oaken desk in the middle of the room. On the walls are
various maps of the city. It appears as if those here are in deep discussion.

The training room~
This room seems to be set up to simulate a city environment. You notice
that there are dummies all over the place which the soldiers are practicing
with. Their captain does not appear to be here to supervise them.

This room is obviously a chapel. Upon the wall in the front of the room is
a large diamond star, the symbol of Aecindo. The priest is praying quietly
toward the symbol.

A well travelled trail.~
This trail appears to be quite well travelled.  Things are very peaceful
here, and the trail leads up into the mountains of the southwest.  A sign
can be seen behind some bushes.

The road to Adaria~
You see the city of Adaria in the distance. Here and there you see burned
out farmhouses. Nobody seems to be around. The city appears to be
active though, for you can almost here the sounds from here.
