air, despite the cleanliness of this section of the ship.

Name:	Ten Forward: The Builders' Lounge
Desc:$
You step into a large room, buzzing with the alternating echoes of work and
play. Builders come here to congregate, brainstorm, and relax. You overhear
stories of great feats of both building prowess and foul pranks played on
unwitting new builders. In the centre of the room is an enormous glass
coffeetable, which also doubles as a tropical fishtank. At the far end of the
room is a huge boardroom table, covered in scribbled notes, blueprints,
napkins, and various other builders tools. Beaming from all three surrounding
walls are huge trideoscreens, displaying revolving structural outlines of the
current Awake universe, and theoretical additions to its already complex
architecture. As you approach the video screens to get a closer look, you are
accosted by innumerable babbling people, all adding to the sheer volume and
viscosity of the ideas that emanate from this strange dwelling. Welcome.

This room is a complete mess. Clothes are everywhere. There's a desk in the
corner with a tortoise running Linux (Debian 22.1, if you must know), and old
fashioned paper computer books everywhere. On the other end is a stereo with a
old fashioned CD player; most of the titles are from bands that you've never
heard of, like Squishy, Frequency Lab, Nuclear Assault, Emperor, Slayer, etc.
There's papers everywhere with half-drawn UML diagrams, scribbled fragments of
code in C or Perl, and a deck of 3x5 paper cards with use cases written on
them. The Help Wanted ads are on the table and have been thoroughly combed
over -- some of them go back to August of last year.
