An aranea is an intelligent, shapechanging spider with sorcerous powers. In its
natural form, an aranea resembles a big spider, with a humpbacked body a little
bigger than a human torso. It has fanged mandibles like a normal spider. Two
small arms, each about 2 feet long, lie below the mandibles. Each arm has a
hand with four many-jointed fingers and a double-jointed thumb.

Lurking in the mountain recesses of Ehime Prefecture, this monster bird
resembles nothing so much as an oversized barnyard fowl. During the day it
hides itself away in bamboo groves, but at night it emerges and wanders
into villages, making a strange rustling basabasa noise and causing people
to peek out of their houses, only to find nothing there. The basan is also
said to breathe fox-fire, creating eerie ghost-flames. It is, however, not
known to cause any injury to humans.

Tutorial Stat Trainers Room~
There are seven stats that can be improved upon by spending an amount of
practice points in exchange for a 1 point increase in the chosen stat.
Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma and Luck
will all play an important role in shaping your experiences and
effectiveness as a The Oriental Dojo combatant. Typing HELP <stat name>
will give you information about a given stat and what effect it has over
your character. The maximum you can train any stat to is 21. You can also
train Hp, Mana and Move points, there is no limit on how many of those you
can have. You are only restricted by your number of practice points.

Tutorial Skill Practice Room~
Practicing and mastering your skills is important for your survival on the
battlefields of Engen Wu. The &WPRACTICE&z command will show you what
skills you currently have access to, while &WSLIST&z will show you all the
skills that your class has assigned to it and the levels at which you gain
the skill. The &WPRACTICE&z command must issued at a trainer to actually
&WPRACTICE&z a skill. Once you have entered the academy you will need to

The armors you wear effect how effective you are in the battle field. The
&WEQUIP&z command is used to check what EQUIPments you are wearing. As you
level up new EQUIPments will become available for use. They can be

found in the corpses of dead monsters. The lower your AC rating the more
highly armored you are.

Tutorial Magic Store~
Row upon row of dust covered books line the timber shelves, worn through years
of use and neglect. Strange symbols and words of long forgoten languages can be
seen on the spines of the leather bound books, some inlayed with gold and
mother of perl. A desk sits in the middle of the room, clean and freshly
pollished, with a single open text upon it, with the librarian sitting
patiently behind the desk.

Tutorial Lesson 3 "MOVEMENT"~
Well, You have managed to make it this far all on your own.
Congratulations. Exits will take you from one room to another, from one
area to another or onto and off of the wilderness map. So far you have
used the N,S,E,W directions to &WMOVE&z to this room. But there are many
other types of &WEXITS&z that you may encounter on your travels through
Engen Wu. Of the other basic exits are NW,NE,SE,SW Up and Down. Other
exits might need to be entered, or dug up to reveal them. Go down from
here and try a few more exits before continuing north and on through the
tutorial.

Every class within The Fury .PvP. has the ability to learn magical arts that
will aid them in many aspects of the game. Classes that are physical or mental
in focus. Mental focus gives the class many magical options and fewer physical
optins, while a physical focus gives the class many physical options and fewer
magical skills. The STUDY command can be used with books and scrolls to learn
new magical skills for your class.

Tutorial Lesson  7 "COMBAT"~
Combat is a daily part of life within Engen Wu. The killing of monsters is
one of the primary methods used to gain experience points that are used to
level up your character. There are a number of ways to stay alive while
fighting monsters. Potions can be used or healing spells can be cast to
heal your hitpoints. CON can be used to see how you compare to the moster
your about to fight and WIMPY can be set so you flee before the monster
can kill you, but beware, some moneters will persue you till the bitter
end. If your ready to face your first opponent, travel down from here and
engage the monsters below this room.

Tutorial Lesson  6 "GAME ECONOMY"~
The currency use within Engen Wu is gold. Gold is used for all transactions,
from purchasing equipment, studying new skills, buying food and adventuring
supplies, even buying your own mount for speedier travel. There are a number of
different ways that you can obtain gold. Completing quests and tasks will
reward you with gold, as will killing monsters and selling the items you find
within their corpses.

There are many ways to customize your character. Scattered through out the
realms are NPC's who can restring your items to make them look unique. You can
