light, save for some kind of pink glow off to your north.

coming from a half-open door further down the alley.  It silhouettes the
outline of a man who's leaning against the wall, and as you approach he
steps in front of the door, waiting for you.

surrounding two buildings.  A door is off to your west, leading into some
kind of club or something, you can hear the sounds of men and women from
inside, but no music.  A man stands by the door, and after looking over you
several times, he waves you on and steps aside, letting you in if you want.
