What is Imperium? It is a text-based multi user strategy game of galactic exploration and conquest. It started development back in the late 1980's on the Amiga and has drifted in and out of active development since. Now that there is a internet and people aren't playing over a modem we would like to bring the rest up to date.
There is a smart client for Linux already, and a custom Mudlet app is also being worked on. Of course you can play over telnet from any platform.
