Hah don't think so, the very last part where he holds the last note is definately his hands, but the rest appears way too awkward to be his own hands. It's like someone is laying underneath him or something.
I just found it amusing that they went to that length when the piano (which should be more likely to be recognized than the pennywhistle) has completely incorrect notes being struck. Picard does get more screen time, though.
It's not anything of huge concern, this is just the sort of thing that bemuses me as a musician…like when movies have scenes in ballrooms or parties with bands, and the bands have no roles other than to play the music, why are they almost never real musicians?
I won't do a pretty translation but here's a rough one.
You who think you've seen it all Who have traveled, who have read Surprised by nothing anymore Welcome to Verona
You who think that man is good Because he can write pretty songs If you think this one is good Welcome to Verona
Of course here is like everywhere else Men are neither worse nor better Hey!- you who come to us tonight By mistake or by chance
You are in Verona, beautiful Verona The city where everybody hates each other We'd like to go but we stay Here there is no love of kings Here two families make the laws No need to choose your side That decision was made for you long ago
You are in Verona, we speak of Verona Here the venom of hatred flows in our lives Like in our veins Of course our gardens are flowered Of course our women are beautiful, and then It's like paradise on Earth But our souls are in hell You are in Verona
You who at night fall asleep Certain that you are loved Here, one is sure of nobody Welcome to Verona
It's true that we are blessed by gods Here we die but we die old Here everybody has a crown That's how it is in Verona
Of course here is like elsewhere Men are neither worse nor better Hey!- you who come to us tonight By mistake or by chance
