I figured this would probably happen. In the past I've had google clear my adsense account, because when I first started doing it I had people click on it alot. That's a no no. Once you hit $100 they go over your account and look at all the clicks to see how they happened. Having them on here is a bunch of red flags especially if people are saying to click them (whether it's the admin of the site or not). Google is a multi-billion dollar corporation for a reason.
It wasn't until about 2 years later that I was able to sign up for adsense again and since then I just let the traffic to my sites do the clicking. I don't touch it or tell anyone to touch it. I just get natural clicks from users.

I clicked a couple of interesting ones each day after I found out about it, but that's it. I wish I hadn't said anything about it now, Sorry Davion.

Heh, so I guess technically, if there is a site I have a beef with or a beef with the person running it, and they have adsense, I could actually punish them by clicking their ads too much?
I imagine that has to happen quite a bit…
You'd think they have some other measure in place to deal with someone clicking too much. But yeah, I figured this would happen to when a few people seemed a bit over enthusiastic about fanatically clicking :p

I'd imagine that google gets paid either way, so it's no sweat if they suspend it. A few trampled toes isn't noticed much by a billion-dollar giant running around eating cows and whatnot
No big deal Chris :) Better it happened now than months down the road when I'd actually made plans for advertising ;). I'll have to come up with something else now…. Any suggestions more than welcome :P

Have you considered an oversized donate button on the front page? I'm sure some people would be willing to help out a website that they use so often. As far as advertising goes though, I'm not sure. I would be willing to donate from time to time…especially since I might have had a hand in ruining this google thing.

Those of us who are dodging the law right now will send out our donations when our assets have been unfrozen and the UN takes us off their wanted lists.
are you serious ssolvarain or is that a joke? if you're serious then damn that sucks.

I would imagine he was kidding. I suppose you would have to be pretty daft to post on a public forum that you were wanted by international authorities if you were in fact wanted by international authorities.
Yes, or switzerland if you are any race. or a few others but I'd go for switzerland. They have better cellphone service than anywhere else in the world.

and I've heard that part of their national health care package is to give out free Lindt chocolate to anyone who asks. The only price is that you have to say (in public) that Swiss beer > German beer. But…. it's free chocolate! Tough call….
As long as I don't have to drink the beer I'll make that claim. Now if only they gave something other than chocolate… like maybe some Little Debbie Swiss Rolls!!!

Seems a little bit harsh to punish an entire site because one person did something wrong…
