I've been hounded by some people about missing licenses on my mud.
I have no idea how to add them, I know enough to boot the mud, and
thats about it. I have the rom source, something called quickmud, but
beyond that I don't know how to make it so that the files show up as
required. The log-on screen has them, but I don't know how to add them as
helpfiles, especiallyh since myc ode doesn't have a docs folder in it.

I guess you might download it again. All versions of QuickMud I've seen have a doc folder and all the licenses.
