In response to the flood of suggestions, some tweaking has gone on. Consider this a 2.01 or something. :)

* File descriptions can be updated without re-uploading the file and are auto-approved.
* MUD listings can now be fully edited and are automatically approved. Except for banner updates, those will still require approval.
* File submissions are now displaying the bbcode functions for the description field. This will be spreading around to the other places file descriptions can be edited as time permits.
* Some internal permission handling has been improved to better deal with mud listings. You all won't see this unless you've managed to get dinged for abusing something :)

Keep the suggestions coming. And try to keep them confined to the existing threads. Locating them when they spread out can be difficult. Keep in mind as well that the loosening of edit restrictions is revocable if people abuse this. It's in everyone's best interest not to do that.

Those sound like some pretty good changes. :)
