http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/adm...

Basically it lets you use gmail and the other web tools on your own domain for free. Would be a neat way to offer players email accounts.

Whatya think?

I've just set this up on my domain - google says it will take up to 48 hours to verify the domain is mine, etc.

So is the space they mentioned supposed to come from your servers or theirs? Seems like it would be awfully hard to grant multiple gigs of space to more than a few people, let alone to an entire playerbase.

Pretty sure it comes from theirs. Most of everything on the free account is on their site. You get a special little google.com/blah homepage for your organization and a special login.

Its just basically using gmail with a special domain with a small amount of innerconnectivity.

I have my domain thenetslums.com (random one I purchased for an eventual homepage) hooked up.

Steps involve:

1. Sign up
2. Upload an html file to prove ownership of domain- Once this is done you can send emails
2. Change the MX of the domain to: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM, once this is done you can recieve emails
3. That's it…mine is fully functional. I can even change how the gmail web app looks to my visitors.
