I play an online game TORN.com
They have a weapon system i liked, and i made a version of it..
basically working from a helpfile, backwards writing it all from scratch.

Epic Weapon affects
Achilles: 4x increased ankle damage.
Throttle: 4x increased throat damage.
Crusher: 4x increased head damage.
Cupid: 4x increased chest damage.
Strangle: 4x increased neck damage.
Powerful: +20 percent damage.
Precision: +20 percent hitroll when hitting with this type of weapon. When it does the math to see if you hit, it takes your hitroll and adds another 20 percent on top.
Speed: +50 percent chance to hit again and +25 chance to hit again. The two are independent of one another.
Motivation: +10 percent Damroll, Hitroll, and AC spellup, Up to 5x times.
Rage: Chance at hitting 2-8 times in a single turn.

Legendary Weapon affects
Penetrate: Ignores some of the damage resistance from armor.
Puncture: 25 percent Chance of ignoring armor.
Expose: Increased critical hit rate.
Weaken: Chance to Weaken opponent reducing Defense by 25% (x3).
Slow: 25 percent Hitroll debuf.
Wither: 25 percent Damroll debuf.

Cotn 4.5 had a really barebones Midgaard Hometown, that i vastly expanded..
There is a subterranean level under the city, so players and mobiles can move around underground,
then pop up streetside or in a shop.
I made a lot of shops, tons of unique mobs,
The RP feel of the hometown city is amazing in my opinion.. but i made it, so….
