SPELLCHAINS
SPELLCHAINS WINIT WCHAIN WCAST WARLOCK
1
Warlocks are able to create somewhat custom spells using a set of chained
commands. The commands are listed below, and examples can be found in the
help file @@CHAINEXAMPLES@. This help file is only temporary, and a more
detailed help file will be written later. While you are casting chain spells
you will not regenerate mana in the usual way (other affects may help).
winit : This command starts a new spellchain - first thing you to type.
wchain : This command ends the current spell, and starts a new spell,
without casting the old... this allows you to chain several
spells together before casting them.
wcast : This command will cast all the chains you have linked together,
one after another (only 5 spells can be chained).
wcancel : Cancels the current spell.
wtarget : This command sets the target type of the given spell, it defaults
to the value "local person", and can be set to "global/local
person/room/object". If an earlier chain has set the wtarget,
then all following chains will have the same target type, unless
you chose to change it later.
wfocus : This command sets the actual target (or focus) of the spell, and
MUST be set for each spell in the chain (focus is not inhereted
through spells in the chain). If you set 'wfocus auto', the chain
will try to target the person you are fighting.
wexclude : This command allows you to exclude targets from a room-specific
spell. It will have no effect on object/person spells. The allowed
sets to exlude are "target/players/mobiles/group/nongroup". Just
like wtarget, this is inhereted through the chained spells.
wpower : This command sets the power (and thus mana cost) of the spell, and
the default value is 100 (of 1-100). If you set this value in a
spell, all following spells in the chain will have the same value.
wtype : This command sets the type of spell, and MUST be set for each spell
in the chain. The legal types are "damage/heal/affect".
