The dwarves of Bantadin are very proud of the pipeweed, and it is not
without reason. The strength and taste of their weed is unmatched, even by
the finest weeds found above ground. The main reason could be these caves,
which gives the fungi full protection from sunlight, and that special
Underdark radiation, which causes many of the fungi to radiate a soft glow.

With enormous patches of planted mushfungi to the east, south and north,
the dwarven community should be able to keep the food production up for
centuries, at least if anyone can survive on fungus alone. This is probably
the least exciting of the fungus caves, as the mushfungi is just a plain
brown fungus with no glow, taste or "special" affect.
