|C|	Let's start off by saying this is very important to read and
|C|understand. Within this are your rights as a player, the rights of the
|C|administration, and the rules that govern both. Be sure to read it all, it
|C|is not meant to be taken out of context.

|+G|                              Player Rights

|+B|The right to...

|+Y|  1|+W|) |C|Privacy. Any pages, +mail, or other messages meant to be private
|C|     will not be viewed by anyone except the person intended. The
|C|     administrators reserve the right to invade your privacy if: You have
|C|     expressed the intent to break a rule, you have broken a rule, you are
|C|     known to have been involved with someone caught breaking a rule, you
|C|     have agreed to give up this right for any reason. Rules are listed
|C|     below.

|+Y|  2|+W|) |C|A harrassment free environment. If a player is being harrassed, they
|C|     have a right to (in the following order preferrably):

|+M|     a|+W|. |C|Ask the harrasser to stop.

|+M|     b|+W|. |C|Page-lock the harrasser (@lpage me=!*<harrasser>).

|+M|     c|+W|. |C|Notify a member of the administrative team ('@admin' for a list).

|+M|     d|+W|. |C|Use the 'complain' command to log a complaint (See 'help complain').

|+Y|  3|+W|) |C|Player killing. This is necessary to keep the game 'realistic' (as
|C|     much as a game can be anyway). Player killing does have its
|C|     'realistic' consequenses as well (i.e. Jail).

|+Y|  4|+W|) |C|Speech. This game allows uncensored speech. If you want to say fuck,
|C|     go right ahead. THIS IS NOT A K-12 ENVIRONMENT. If you have a problem
|C|     with swearing, we suggest you leave the public channel and/or
|C|     page-lock offensive players. Don't confuse this right with being able
|C|     to say anything you want TO someone. Something implied |+Y|* |C|about another
|C|     player is considered being directed TO them. If you are asked to stop
|C|     speaking a certain way to someone then stop or it is considered
|C|     harrassment.

|+Y|  5|+W|) |C|Not particularly like everything about the game. You are more than
|C|     welcome to suggest (in a positive manner) ways to better the game.
|C|     This can be accomplished by joining the 'Suggestions' mailing list
|C|     (+mlist +Suggestions) and posting to it.

|+Y|* |+W|- |C|In this case, implied refers to an insulting remark noted by both an
|C|admin AND the 'offended' player. (IE: If both the player AND the admin
|C|consider such an implication as in fact BEING an implication) - Simple
|C|statements such as "Dude looks like a lady" will NOT be considered implicit
|C|of anyone.

|C|	This list is ordered from the least severe punishment to the most
|C|severe. The offenses most detrimental to the game constitute the most
|C|severe punishments.

|+B|Here are the game's definition of some rules and their consequences for
|+B|breaking them|+W|:

|+Y|No Hacking |+W|- |C|Hacking is the biggest offense in the game and is
|C|             intolerable. Hacking is the act of exploiting bugs. Whether
|C|             it is to gain an unfair advantage in the game or to crash the
|C|             game, it is all considered hacking. If a bug is found, please
|C|             contact an administrator immediately. If you are caught
|C|             hacking, you will be nuked.

|+Y|No Cheating |+W|- |C|Anything that allows you an advantage over other players is
|C|              considered cheating. Keeping yourself unidle, by using a
|C|              script or any other non-interactive means, is also
|C|              considered cheating.

|+Y|No Harrassing |+W|- |C|Continuing an act that you have been asked to stop because
|C|                someone finds it offensive is considered harrassment. If
|C|                the act is protected by the 'Player Rights' section above,
|C|                it cannot be deemed harrassment (i.e. Player killing).

|C|	If you create more of a problem after disciplinary action has been
|C|taken against you (i.e. Insulting an admin for disciplining you), your
|C|punishment will be immediately taken to the next step.
