Version 2 is based on the SMAUG 1.02a source.  v2.2.2 is the first public
release made.  Parts of SMAUG 1.4 have been added in later point releases.
For v2.3.5, the code was autoconfiscated for increased portability.

Version 1 was based on the Dale 3.5 source and was never released.
