Mordor ASCII Database -- 18 MAR 96
 
  The files in this directory are an ascii version of the database for 
the Mordor MUD.  These are provided for Mordor users that need to convert 
the normally binary version to their particular system.  If you are 
running Mordor on a machine with an Intel 80X86 prosessor you do not need 
these files.
  To create the binary versions of this database, you will also need to 
get the ascii to bin to ascii converter and compile it on your system.  
You can then use it to covert these ascii files to a binary for your 
system.  This converter can be gotten from:
ftp://parker.bio.uci.edu/pub/mordor/ascbin_1.0.tar.gz
  A simple shell script is included that will automate this process
(conv.sh).  It assumes that your ascii to bin to ascii converter (usually
named 'ab') is in ~/util/ascbin and that you have untarred this archive as
well as the Mordor archive in ~ (or your home directory for the game).
