Italk -- a simple and better replacement for telnet. This is the source for italk. Italk is a nice little program that allows you to make simple connections. It is prefered over telnet since it is smaller, cleaner, and faster (and environmentally friendly). To compile it try: cc italk.c -o italk or gcc italk.c -o italk It also supports macros, including autologins. It looks for the file .ithost in your home directory. A sample ithost file is included. Just rename it to ~/.ithost and type 'italk i' to connect to Isengard. If you type italk with no options it will ask you for a destination. A sample macro file is also included. The macros are: The '1' key makes you cast a vigor spell. The '2' key makes you smile. The '3' key makes you drink a hazy potion.
