The Awakening (2050)
The Awakening began in the summer of 1994 as a pet project. After a
wonderful hard drive crash, it was started again in December of 1994.
It is based off of CircleMUD 3.0 (see below), and was started by
Christopher J. Dickey until he gave up in 1997. Since then, the mud
has advanced incredibly through the work of Orbital and Waipook.
Unless some decker has hacked the matrix and stolen info from The Awakening,
all zones are unique to this mud (and if one has, be sure we're gonna send
a couple of mages, street samurai, and mercenaries after you).

Orbital may do most of the coding around here, but we can't thank Waipook,
Flynn, and FlyGuy enough for all their hard work! Thanks a
bunch!
