Evergreen Multiplex~
   This is the front of the Evergreen complex, a place whose name makes no
sense. The building is old, sturdy looking, but hardly green. It looks safe
enough, but is clearly not among the classier places to stay in Seattle.

   The foyer is curiously garish. Originally the design was art deco, but as

   This is a spacious efficiency, just ugly enough to be endearing to the
runner who calls it home.  A thick foam pallet is spread across the floor,
surrounded by the ubiquitous clutter of scrawled notes, sketches, hardware,
and a wide, amber-tinted ashtray overfilled with cigarette butts. A mural of a
coyote rendered in impasto acrylic seems to leap out from the far wall, its
reds and browns heavily textured in dramatic arcs, with red claylike dust
swept across it. A large steamer trunk lays on its side near the door, it's
compartments used as shelves for more clutter.

Bedroom~
   Differing greatly from the posh, but modest living room, this room
resembles something from a shaman's wildest dreams. Candles, unlit and lit,
rest on every object that has a flat surface. The light permeating from the
candles allows you a glance at a beautiful mural painted above the simple bed.
On closer inspection, the mural is a landscape of a wide open desert plain.
Many dirt mounds are dwarfed by giant rock formations, with the sun
disappearing towards the back of the scene. The scent of incense tickles your
nose, and the whole room generally has a comfortable, warm feeling.

   This room would seem very simple if not for the dazzling, and expensive
looking pieces of furniture placed in a fashionably strategic manner. A
leather couch here, a dark translucent table and to top it all off a fireplace
embedded into the wall. On closer examination you notice that the fireplace
has an avant garde look to it, curved out into a quarter dome. Magazines are
strewn about, and a medium sized television set rests on the floor.

The Bedroom~
   This is a very spacious room, with a blue carpet, a blue bed, a desk and
leather office chair, two nightstands, and two windows on the east wall. The
bed is a king size bed with a big blue comforter blanket, and black and white
checkered pillows and sheets.  The walls are painted white, and there are a
couple of paintings hanging.   On the south wall, there is a photograph of a
gold lacquer trumpet on a black marble table with a glass of red wine, roses,
and a sheet of music.  This framed photograph is about 3 feet in length and 2
feet in width.   There is a painting of an ancient sailing ship on the north
wall that is the same size, but it has a blue frame.   On the nightstand is a
black alarm clock displaying the time in blue LCD backlighting.  On the desk
rests a 15" flatscreen monitor, which is connected to a top of the line custom
computer built by Sorel himself. Connected to this computer is a blue
translucent cyberdeck.   Out of the eastern windows, you can see some of
western Seattle, and just about all of Eastern Tacoma.  There is also a trid
unit, complete with all of the channels and a DVD recorder/player on the
massive desk against the north wall.  Against the eastern wall is a large
dresser which Sorel uses for his clothes.  This room is extremely comforting
compared to the streets..

   You enter a spacious living room.  There are many pieces of furniture, the
most interesting piece being a U-shaped sofa curving around a huge trid
system.  Walking around is a bit difficult, as weapons and equipment of all
manner and design have been strewn around the room, with apparently no order
at all.  The only exception is a large weapons case at the far end of the room
holding countless numbers of sniper rifles, each identical to the next.

Bedroom~
   A king sized waterbed sits in the middle of this room.  Four tall posts
extend from the corners of the bed, with silk cloth hanging from them for
decoration. Beside the bed is a private cyberterminal, and strewn about it are
several cyberdeck programs and a Fuchi-5 cyberdeck.  Looking up, you are
surprised to see the night's sky instead of a ceiling.  A slight glare reveals
it to be plasteel or glass.  To the north you see a bathroom, and to the west
you see a kitchen.  There is a doorway to the south, but the light within it
is dimmer, hiding its purpose.
