This displays a list of available commands. Many commands may
be abbreviated. For example, it is possible to type "k guard", 
instead of "kill guard". However, it is necessary to know how short
a command may be used.
For example, if one wants to kiss another player and uses "k <player>"
as a shortening of the command kiss, but k is really short for kill, the
players may be in for a surprise. The helpfiles are periodically
updated to keep up with the code changes, so there ought to be a 
helpfile entry covering each command. (See:OLC).

this via a "mudmail" to the current %2Helpfile%0 god or goddess.
