One must have the channel turned on to hear what's on it. One may not use certain channels until certain levels are reached. Certain channels must be turned on and off in a way other than "no <channel>". These are :clan and assassin channels. To turn these on or off, use "csay%1-%0"/ "csay%1+%0", as well as "asay%1-%0" / "asay%1+%0 ". The following channels are considered public and certain etiquette is expected on these in accordance with the %7Policy%0: Gossip/ooc, shout, holler, music, auction, quest, grat, ic. The abuse of these channels may result in removal of the priviledge to use them. These are the %1Channels%0 of %1AR%0. %1newbie %6<message%0: This allows characters of level 1-10 to ask questions, petition for aid, etc. Immortals can also talk on this channel. %b%1Note: This is NOT a chat channel.%0 %1chat %6join%0: This allows you to enter the AR Chat Channel. Once entered, anything you type will go to the channel.
