In the Hoan-dor Forest west of Mesraht there stands a cathedral. Four
hundred years ago, it was built by the members of a religion 
based on the worship of nature. Through time, the peaceful, good-natured
religion mutated, turning towards debachery and, eventually, sadomasochism.
The cathedral underwent extensive renovation to suit the tastes 
of the new religion.
The members of the Church of Hate all reside in the cathedral and
very seldom venture out into the world. Their numbers are dwindling 
and they are eager for new converts. They tolerate visitors, save
for those that have the ability to fly. They view flying creatures
with great suspicion.
