The calendar of these realms is divided up into four seasons, each
containing four months, for a grand total of 16 months per year.  Each
month consists of roughly four weeks, each week containing seven days.
Each day contains 24 hours, each hour contains roughly 60 minutes.

The discovered portion of the realms thus far has found the four months
before the dawn of the new year to be, by far, the coldest and most harsh
on adventurers.  Likewise, the mid-year months are often oppressively hot
in some regions of the discovered world.

Rumor has it, that in lands as of yet undiscovered, the seasons almost
reverse themselves... we shall see.
